I'm not so much of a "Conspiracy Theorist" but I know that 98% of all politicians (in every country in the world)aren't doing politics for the good of the people but for their own prestige and "Power Trip". That's the nice thing about the set up of the US Gov't. You have 3 branches all on the "Power Trip" that helps even things out. <grin> Someone like Saddam can't get all the power and do some really bad things although Dubya and his "Justic Dept." are doing thier best to grab all the power they can while the public ain't looking.
