Well, certainly worse for some women. But your point is well taken. The other side, of course, is the breakdown of the extended family unit which, IMO, has been exacerbated by a number of the modernization trends which Neo cherishes. My children were brought up living next door to their maternal grandparents, and had a strong extended family to grow into. I think it was an excellent thing. Many young children today have little if any contact with anybody over the age of 30.
