What you mean "we", Kemosabe? Given the official move into "thwart mode", the spinning here will of course be furious, and the newspeak coinages breathtaking. But there's always Rummy's Polish joke to pay lip service to:

"I listened to Powell on Lehrer yesterday and he was very clear we would not accept going in under the old agreement".

I'm wondering if the UN could decide to send in the inspectors regardless of US agreement or do the mechanics of the UN preclude that from happening? If not resolved, seems hard to imagine an attack on Iraq when UN inspectors are there. Even as I say this, I don't really expect the situation will get to that point anyways.
