I want to pause to take a moment to thank everybody who has been involved in this discussion. It has been fascinating, substantive, polite, carried on for hundreds of posts without a single insult, personal attack, or other show of blatant negativism. I think we are all to be commended. It's been an unusual and refreshing interlude for SI, and reflects the best of what can happen here when people of intellectual curiousity and goodwill dialogue together. I encourage each of us to give oursellves a pat on the back. Now, back to the fray.
