Investing in US government bonds could have tripled your net worth since 1990.

If you actually achieved a return as good as a US government bond in Northern California real estate, it is clear that the area you chose rose more than the northern California average.

The law of Regression to the Mean suggests that this out-performance is unlikely to continue. You may want to take your profits and run.

Anyone invested in the broad stock market since 1990 has fared far better.
