Mother Teresa of Calcutta Moves Toward Sainthood

Ayn Rand would have been proud!!

"If the Pope signs the decree approving the miracle, probably in December, a beatification ceremony can be held next year, the sources said.

A second miracle attributed to Mother Teresa would be needed after the beatification for her to be declared a saint.

Under Church rules, five years must pass after a person dies before the long bureaucratic procedure for sainthood can begin."

I don't think so. Parent input has never had much effect on the St. John's curriculum. If there were any objections, they would be to authors such as Rabelais. Or to the Symposium seminars.

More, I think, a lessening of the strict belief in the superiority of Western cultural thought and an increasing awareness of the impact of multiculturalism. But i don't really know. Since the alias Neo says his wife works or worked for St. John's, he might have some better ideas.
