Current Status: Pending Summary: THE FIRM AND THE INDIVIDUAL DEFENDANTS WILL DENY THE SEC'S ALLEGATIONS WHEN THEIR ANSWERS ARE FILED. ALL INTEND TO VIGOROUSLY DEFEND THEMSELVES IN THIS FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT. THE FIRM WILL PROVE THAT IT BOUGHT A SIZEABLE BLOCK OF AN ILLIQUID SECURITY FROM ANOTHER MARKET MAKER AT A DISCOUNT FROM THE MARKET. THE FIRM WAS AT RISK AT ALL TIMES AFTER THIS PURCHASE. COUNSEL FOR THE COMPANY BELIEVES THE FIRM ACTED IN A LAWFUL MANNER, CONSISTENT WITH REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS AND CUSTOM AND PRACTICE IN THE SECURITIES INDUSTRY.
