Yeah, I pretty much agree with you. The world is too complex and interwoven for that to really pan out. It might affect growth downwards, but I doubt it will crash the markets.

There's barely a market to crash. I'd say 80% lower in 2.5 years qualifies as a certified crash on the nasdaq. It's only a matter of time before the other indexes fall to values that are more in line with business prospects.
