Censorship has many forms :

" Yesterday, a few days after ZOA president Mort Klein wrote a letter to the rabbis at Congregation B'nai Jeshurun in which he urged them to boot Nusseibeh from their speakers list ".

From my perspective, that is one of them.

You seem to have some problem with the concept then. Censorship is when A prevents B from speaking in an exercise of power, e.g. by physical intimidation, law or religious authority. Unless you claim that APN has to take the orders of the ZOA, the term "censorship" does not apply here. APN can say yes or no as they please.

This is just as silly as the wails of the anti-war left that they are being "censored" because people are calling their ideas stupid. It was particularly amusing to see Susan Sontag claim that she was suffering from censorship -- in an op-ed in the New York Times! Hey, if that's censorship, can I have some?

And regarding the Montreal " riot "

Hey, KC what's with the quotes? It sure was a riot. It was covered quite well by the papers. When people smash windows, etc its a riot.

You're trailing a very dubious scent.
