Steven, Its not a myth, my Expedition is not a Samuri :-) Yes as a 4x4 it has a high center of gravity, but I drove tractors and trucks on the farm as a kid and know how to drive it. The 'real' problem is the urban cowboy/girl driving half-tons and full size SUV's as if they were cars. The only way to fix that is a separate driving class (like motorcycles have) with a test. An co-worker did a roll-over in his SUV, it rolled 5 times. He came out condemning SUV's, but he lived. How did it happen? He made a 90 degree left turn at 45 mph through a yellow light and was hit in the rear quarterpanel. Yeah - the SUV caused the accident :-) Demographics say most soccer MOM's vote for Democrats so they better watch what they condemn :-) We should go after all the high performance low mileage Euro sports cars!
