Any thoughts?

I talked to a neighbor who wants to sell Cisco, IBM, AOL, Amazon, and Qualcomm for tax loss selling.

If you had these to sell, and could sell at any time in the next 3 months... would you try to sell into any rally, or place a specific limit sell order and hope that it would "hit" that price in the next couple of months.

(This is a neighbor who doesn't actively follow the market, and didn't understand the tax advantages of selling for a loss...and buying back the same position 31 days later.)
