say, it occurred to me that you would love the novel I'm reading at the moment--"Dark Star," by Alan Furst. Great spy stuff set in Europe in the late 30's, gets the history right, wonderful atmosphere, etc. Try it. Let me join Bill in thanking you for the recommendation, tek. Furst is always on my lists, just never gets far enough up to make the plunge. This will get me to read a volume or two. Funny. Just put it on reserve. Turns out that's the same title as Roy Orbison's bio. ;-)
