Tony sitting on a manhole cover or something with a bunch of leftie "nutters" trying to eak out. Personally I think Tony Blair is a competent politician. It's his supporters I don't like. The towne "lets stop the foxhunting, and control everyones behaviour" mob. I know the lunitic fringe lefties too. They would vote for Tony B on anything because the spectre of the Tories returning to power is still a deep fear in their psyche. I think the city financial boys control him more then anybody. Thats not his fault though. When it comes to health and education I just would like to see minimum corruption. Government bonds and private cos bidding for business looks like the simple and best route. I do know USA health plans are much cheaper then what we pay for the National health. The service in the USA was first class too. Same for dentists. As a former member of a gun club I could never vote for Tony B. again though, the gun ownership legislation post Dunblane would have to be undone first. Gun crime rates are soaring in the UK btw. news.bbc.co.uk Meanwhile most legal gun clubs have closed down. Remaining ones shoot carbines (more dangerous then handguns imho). The police force think they now have a "carte blanch" to mow down anyone suspected of carrying a weapon. I could apply for a license to shoot and old fashioned "cap and ball" pistol six gun for example. Trouble is.. the first gun ignoramus member of public would call the police, if they knew I was transporting it, to a club or whatever, and report me. The cops would show up with machine guns, as they have done on many occasions. You got to be so careful these days carrying.. even coffee table legs. news.bbc.co.uk
