I am a woman, just like you.

Nigerian government might not be openly supporting it but it is being done. "Circumcision" of girls is not done in Iraq, by the way. Not that it changes much, but just to show that there are numerous human rights problems in countries that are US allies and the excuse given for a regime change in Iraq is just not the real reason why the current US administration is so insistent on invading Iraq... in my humble opinion.

As a woman, I take genital mutilation of girls more seriously than you do, probably.

I agree with the "probably." We should all take it terribly seriously.
