Willcousa, re: I keep hearing the mantra that we only attack those who attack us first. Not from me, I never used that "mantra". We obviously also defend our allies when they are attacked. re: Is that a good policy for today's world? What is a good policy in today's world? Will the US take it upon themselves to disarm other countries with dangerous weapons and, in our opinion, dangerous motives? Is that the way we want to relate to the world, as a preemptive policeman?
