those are terrorist activities; not limited to Iraqis or Iraq.

Karen my dear.. not to be condescending, but if the terrorist attacks of 9/11 don't represent a serious threat to the US, I don't know what does..

And given that Saddam HAS CLEARLY HARBORED, TRAINED, AND SUPPORTED terrorists who have committed attacks against the US and its citizens, (Abu Nidal, Abu Abbas.. etc), Iraq has DIRECTLY support the efforts of others to attack the US.

That makes Iraq, and more specifically Saddam's regime, a clear and direct threat to the US citizens.

Does it necessarily have to be an attack solely upon the US, or will you include US citizens like you and I who get targeted merely because we're Americans??

"So would ebola introduced into the water supply be viable enough to kill many folks?"

I have no idea if its a viable idea or not but my point was in response to your suggestion that Iraq was half a world away and how much threat could they be. Any country or group that wants to terrorize is a big threat regardless of where they hang their hat.

Again, for illustration, any group/country could
-assassinate a countries leader ( if you are prepared to die on the spot, it seems a doable thing IMO)
-kidnap someones children and have them shut down power grids or sell off hundreds of millions in securities (Barcleys)
-Destroy dams (TVA)
-Burn federal institutions
the above examples would undermine investor confidence and perpetuate the undermining of the economy that OBL and the boys have currently achieved along with the overhang of the pending Iraq war.

A world away?...nope...a phone call away.
