Sure, disagreement is a response, but not very helpful if it is unaccompanied by specific criticism or an offer of an alternative viewpoint in at least as much detail as the post responded to.....

I had a post that you, for all practical purposes, ignored, sketching the philosophical rationale for deeming one sort of society superior. It referred to the Contractarians (Hobbes, Locke, and Rousseau) and Aristotle, and said that people form societies for mutual benefit, and the good society aims at allowing the greatest number to live a life of human dignity, having the leisure, level of comfort, and level of civilization to enable them to cultivate their rational faculties........
