Funny that Connie Brown, one of the best technicians, says a major rally lies ahead and software will take the lead.

Oh wow you've got to be kidding. As somebody trying to work in the software industry right now that would be incredible news. I know business is very bad but I am not short the stocks (I have my LT holdings which obviously are way down)... I am a RE bear only right now.

What is her rational for software leading a rally?

I see semiconductors warning, retailers warning, chip equipment makers warning, but not a whole lot of software companies which are pretty back end loaded. I'm surprised to not see more software companies warning now........ not to say they don't guide lower when they finally do report.
