Studies have shown an inverse correlation between education level and religousness (if that's a word). Surveys have also shown that NAS scientists are far less religious than the general population. (Also a higher percentage of the prison population claims to be religious than the non-prisoners.) So you could be on to something there. Then again our European counterparts are about 3 times less likely to take the Bible literally than we are. Do you suppose they're 3 times better educated? Steve
