Sounds like bologna to me. # of shares entered instead of dollars? By who? Who was this program for? One institution? Or did several guys named Larry at different institutions all do it wrong today? And no one notices all of these extra shares being sold for the last hour until 5 minutes before close? If something has to be "entered" for the program to work, I would guess there would be some monitoring of what's going on. Sounds strange to me. Maybe I'm not clear about how these program trades work. Or maybe it's bs. Also, briefing suggesting "that it doesn't sound like a rumor designed to rescue the markets because the tone recently has been bearish" made me laugh. That's exactly why it DOES sound like a rumor to rescue the markets. Because the 'buy the dippers' want the party to continue more than a day... Wth the AMD and BK warnings, "Larry" could be a hero by tomorrow...
