It's a full blown crisis now. A serious economic crisis was unfolding in the summer of 2001, confidence was crumbling and bears were playing with the Fed's carcass. But 9.11 gave the mob some breathing room and St. Greenspan could pull out all stops on the presses. That ran out a couple months ago. U.S. manufacturing simply isn't able to compete. Strong dollar, overpaid personnel, it's a death trap. So, the desperation for a war side show is getting more obvious by the day. It's only evidence. P.S. Is NY AG Spitzer investigating 9.11 yet? Is he interested in protecting NYC against further terror scams and semi scams?
