Eric, AMD can't wait that long ... Hammer is about 3-6 months away from AMD's bottom line impact. By that time, they will have continued to lose significant market share. "Red ink" for most of next year ... me thinks.

Hammer is at least 6 months away from materially influencing AMD's bottom line. After that, it could have a strong impact. At this point, however, AMD needs a "strong impact" to simply stay afloat.
