I guess Cuba is an evil country out to destroy Americans. Don't you guys have a base there? Okay for bases but that's it.

Hypocrisy. YOU keep stepping on your shoe laces.

Debt relief for third world nations along with economic reform initiatives is a reality that must come about. As for dictators, your American corporations, along with Canada and Europe, don't seem to mind setting up their sweat shops in those countries. But hey, business is business. Forget tax relief but cheap labour is okay.

Hypocrite.

Israel Stages Arafat Removal
Thursday October 3, 2002 7:30 AM

JERUSALEM (AP) - The Israeli military staged a drill practicing the expulsion of Yasser Arafat and commandos even visited the intended destination - a deserted area in a foreign country, the Israeli newspaper Maariv reported Thursday.

Arafat would be flown in a helicopter from his headquarters in the West Bank city of Ramallah to a location where ``there is no town or population nearby,'' the newspaper said, adding that the operation is ready to be carried out on short notice.

Maariv did not name the location, but Israeli television reported recently that the army had chosen the Libyan desert.

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has vowed not to harm Arafat.

However, Maariv said Sharon was eager to expel him after a Sept. 19 suicide bombing in Tel Aviv. Senior security officials advised Sharon against the move, and instead the army laid siege to the Palestinian leader's Ramallah headquarters.

That siege was lifted earlier this week after intense U.S. pressure.

Israel's ambassador to the United States, Danny Ayalon, said Arafat is on a ``slippery slope'' despite a momentary gain in popularity because of the siege. He said Palestinians for the first time are ``second-guessing their leaders and demanding accountability.''

However, critics of the siege said it only boosted Arafat's popularity.

I rest my case. I know much more than the average American. Jimmy Carter receives the Nobel Peace Prize. Didn't I mention the merits of his efforts in a previous post?

I guess the rest of the world is wrong. George Bush? Tony Blair? Peace Prize? Joke.
