I was truly hoping that all the saber rattling was just that - saber rattling. But I guess my hopes are going to be dashed. I was hoping that the Iraqi people, fearing the thrashing they're going to get, would take it upon themselves to rid the world of saddam. But Bush now has congressional approval to wage war. While it would be nice to have the UNs approval, he won't wait for it. I don't believe the market will view this as a positive. I think people, if they haven't already, will start pulling their money out of the market.
