Doesn't Loral itself appear on the verge of extinction?

Carrier consolidation...or ATC? Hope blooms eternal.

pcstel--Zihuatanejo--i think i've been in those internet cafes a bunch of times. They have to earn their 25 pesos per half hour (or was it per hour?). Neat little, authentic town, is Zihua--serves Ixtapa and nearby Playa La Ropa (where we've stayed at Villa del Sol for three years now, spring) without losing too much Mexican character.

Of course, every time I've been there, the markets managed to soar south too.

Judging from the price of the bonds and the money necessary to get Globalstar to profit, I don't think the creditors are going to get much of the New Globalstar. Since it won't be Loral putting up the money, it looks as though Loral is out [more or less].

If QUALCOMM paid $300 million for the assets [or shares in the company when clear of bankruptcy], they'd get nearly all the shares in the new company.

Then they could slash minute prices to the right level and start the phone production lines, get the next [100% coverage] constellation lined up, develop new, smaller phones with methanol fuel cells and 1xRTT or 1xEV-DV gizzards with all the good stuff like RadioOne, gpsOne, BREW etc.

This is the longest denouement I've heard of.
