> GDP is expected to grow about 3% this quarter. That's not all real estate and autos.

Real estate, autos and government spending are the big growth areas in the past year. Healthcare is also up substantially, as is domestic energy production.

Unfortunately, none of those areas are generating significant long term investment in growth areas or new technologies. And that is a problem.

I dunno where you are coming up with this.

I've been warning you about real estate for going on 3 years. Just now you are catching wind of the situation.
Flipping will not be easy forever. The quad tax breaks will just make the peak higher and the fall that much worse.

I lost faith in AMD 1.3 years ago.

As for Intel, Q3 may be ok or the bottom can fall out pretty quick. All I'm saying is that if the economy continues where it's going Intel will begin to have a harder and harder time. If you want to live quarter to quarter, fine.

Mind you, I continue to think Intel is in a good position in the industry...it's the bigger picture that has me worried.
