Thomas, I've read about him and read some of his ideas, which are outstanding (in other words, most of his ideas agree with mine <G>). However, I haven't read the book. I think it would be great to get his ideas, but whether or not he writes well or turgidly is another question.

I've read it and also his first book which was about option strategies. He writes well and has many interesting ideas and ways to express them though many people seem to dislike his elitist tone. He has a very good handle on the application of probability to investing, things that should be obvious to anyone with a Math/Science background but need to be emphasized nevertheless. He makes it clear for example how much of "success" whether in finance or other areas is simply luck, the one-in-a-million chimp at a typewriter.

I saw him speak here in NY last week; it's a terrific book.
