First thing is that there are other people on the ballot besides Forrester and Toricelli.

Secondly. Had Toricelli been ahead in the polls he likely wouldn't have quit.

Torricelli should have quit months ago. He hung everyone out to dry. I think he should run on his own merits.

All this last ditch stuff is just a sour grapes ploy.

NJ voted him in, let them vote him back in.

Once again what happened to the Reps. states' rights platform?

Do you think that supporting states' rights means that when a state court makes a politically-motivated incorrect decision there should not be an appeal to a federal court? Why have a Supreme Court at all?

This is a stupid argument. Damned near half the court had made substantial contributions to the Torricelli campaign and if they had an ounce scruples would have recused themselves. (I know -- it is a funny concept -- Democrats with scruples).
