I have been watching lltc and mxim for more then six years. Every time there is a major move in the price there is tremendous options activity. When there is a decline coming the put volume increases in thousands. And, when there is a price increase expected a calls trade in thousands. I have seen this volume three or four times in last five years. When mxim came down from 38 to 23 and lltc came down from 33 to 20, this happened last month. Today was first big surge in call volumes. I think time will tell whether my decision to bet 100 contracts was a good one or not. Wish me luck.
