Conservative isolationism -- America is too good for the world -- is long dead. Liberal isolationism -- the world is too good for America -- is flourishing. George Will is one of the most intelligent commentators being published today. It is a pity he doesn't really get himself into a forum where his arguments can be used effectively. Playing second-chair to Boy George isn't his highest and best use (by the way, our local ABC affililate seems to have totally dropped Boy George's show from its Sunday schedule. It is bad when you're too liberal even for the media!)
