Bush's voodoo is now gonna crumble the world economies....we were just the appetizer On Wednesday, the Nikkei ended at 9,049.33, its worst close since August 1983. The average last fell below 9,000 on September 6 before the Bank of Japan announced an unprecedented plan to buy stocks directly from banks to help offload their massive shareholdings. Major bank issues took a beating, with Mizuho Holdings (Tokyo:8305.T - News) falling 5.91 percent to 239,000 yen and UFJ Holdings (Tokyo:8307.T - News) sliding seven percent to 250,000. 9000 is now TOAST!
