accusation was that George Bush was the worst President.

The jury is still out I guess. It has become apparent that the "New World Order" of Bush Sr. is actually an "Empire of America" from Bush Jr. From historical precidents it is very hard to see a good long term result coming from this attempt at world conquest. I fear for my grandchildren as former Empires are generally wiped out completely.

Yes, Johnson was trying to get us out of Viet Nam in 1968. There were active peace negotiations in Paris that candidate Nixon interferred with according to Atlantic Monthly and History Channel. Which may have prolonged the war for another seven years and cost the lives of 10,000s of American service men and 100,000s of Indochinese. So much for crediting Nixon for getting us out of Viet Nam.
