Ted,

Torricelli's problems have been around him for years, if you paid attention, and the issue with Korean businessman has been dragging on for long time. He gave interviews. The information has been there for anyone interested.

If Democrats found him unelectable, they should have ran candidates in primaries, just like NH did. But the polls were fine, so all was fine. But later on, the polls changed, and suddenly Torch was unacceptable.

But as far as Torricelli is concerned, nothing changed. He is the same guy, with his idiosyncrasies, aspirations for high lifestyle, reasonably articulate. There are some Democrats I really dislike, but he was not one of them.

But unfortunately, he disappointed me by being a sore loser.
