Hurricane Lili Upgraded to Category 4 Storm, Heads Toward Gulf Coast

Looks like this thing is gonna be more than just a gale. Guess I can forget about some equipment I have in NO, for repair, for a few days.

I don't want to appear anti American, anti Repub, or anti anything. I'm not. I'm an independent Yank. But I for the life of me can't figure the current admin out. They are so bogged down in this ME crap, which over the LT they (the US) can't control anyway, they can't seem to see the forest for the trees. Here we have major events going on over here that can have further adverse effects on an economy going into the crapper, and from outward appearances the admin gives a rip. Things like hurricanes, long shoreman strikes, etc. aren't exactly economic stimuli.

Yesterday I got extremely irritated when I read Billy Tauzins comments about how noble Winnick was, to give back some of his hard earned Global Crossing coin to the needy workers who lost it all. Give me a break. A total staged affair. If GW and Pitt were worth a chit in this area they'd be a lot further along. Spitzer continues to put them to shame, yet he probably has a fraction of the resources. Maybe he has less buds involved as well.

Think the political apparatus needs some major stimuli at the voting box.
