The poll, which had been ordered by Iran's parliament, queried 1,500 people across the country about their opinions on the United States. The results found 74 per cent of respondents over the age of 15 in favour of opening political talks with Washington; 46 per cent said they think U.S. policies on Iran are "to some extent correct." I think they are making a mistake by jailing the head of the polling agency. The Iranian people have shown their propensity to easily overthrow their leaders who are inattentive to their needs. IC
