Not at all. If you are a good person, it is rarely onerous to do one's duty, any more than it is to speak with decent grammar, and everyone makes allowances for minor slips, and laughs over trivial faux pas. Also, as Aristotle said, if you establish good habits, you enjoy doing good. I have a great marriage, a wonderful relationship with my son, I enjoy gourmet food and good music, literature and films, taking drives along scenic roads and good conversation. Life is generally good.

All you have to do is look on the back of a dress for her current size. That is effort enough. It is not so esoteric.......

The taxonomy of women's sizes is a very complex study indeed. I find they appreciate it more if you volunteer to go with them...
