Is there a moral obligation to allow the Klan to march?

Again, I say that a private university can do whatever it likes as long as it is truly private. I know of only one college, Hillsdale College, that openly refuses all federal assistance for the philosophical reason that it doesn't want to be responsible to federal officials for what it does

I don't think a private college is not "truly private" if it accepts money from students who get the money from federal scholarships, grants or loans. Of course as a practical matter accepting that money does put you under greater legal restriction.

Of course he who pays the piper picks the tune. One more reason for having the government not move our money around as much but to instead have people determine as individuals what they will do with the majority of their wealth.
