I am describing how we get moral notions and form a conscience. It is our duty to act according to conscience, which should generally jibe with the dominant notions of a society. We, as Americans, cannot act according to conscience and be subject to the decisions of a world body composed largely of the representatives of tinhorn dictators ruling societies with values often at odds with our own. We can only take them into account, we cannot surrender our sovereign right to act according to the dictates of our own institutions.......
