VIX:BPCOMPQ is also a big bearish divergence from September 2001.

I like this simple weekly new high-low moving average as an indicator-

It has done well this yr. I figure about a 30% return based on trading the SPX at crossings. It's on a sell rt. now, but based on the oversold stance- could turn into a strong buy in a week or two. If it turns soon- it would also be a bullish divergence.
