Well, that is good. You don't wander down the street mumbling when there is no-one to realistically take a message.

Most rules are calculated on values. The most prevalent value is that of safety. This is the most meaningful value to humans (it rides upon the value of existence). I always break rules; but I break them to preserve the underlying values...never to subvert them...
