Oh, please. The CIA acts time and time again in the interests of the wealthy elites from Beverly Hills??! Why don't you throw in the rich folks from Malibu as well? Of course, one could argue that the "cultural imperialism" of Hollywood, is just as ugly as the purely economic imperialism of the IMF. But the CIA and U.S. military acts in their behalf? re:"Can't find the wealthy elites? How about trying Far Hills, NJ, Beverly Hills, CA or any other super wealthy town" Please tell me why the rich elite wanted American Troops in Bosnia. What is the "real reason" the rich elite wanted the U.S to send troops to Kosovo, what economic interests were these rich Americans trying to protected? Please tell me the "real reason" the rich elite wanted U.S. troops in Somolia? Please tell me which rich Americans had their interests furthered, when the United States last sent troops to Haiti? Don't you realize that Saddam with weapons of mass destruction would likely result in a permanent increase in oil prices? Saddam would have the ability to disrupt the distribution of over 50% of the world's oil any time he wanted. No navy in the world, could insure open shipping lanes, when the weapons they face are nuclear. If oil Barrons could dictate American Foreign Policy, the United States would never have supported Israel - and American oil companies might still be majority owners of Aramco.
