I would argue that 35% invested is a direct indication of Bob's uncertainty in his model. If you consider that 50/50 is complete uncertainty, Bob's allocation indicated only a moderate bearish leaning. So it stands to reason that he was not in possession of a clear indication of the bear. Add to that the myriad of other actions and inactions and I think his confusion is a convincing conclusion.

I'm just using the best information I have to arrive at a logical conclusion. Of course, it would be far better if Brinker himself would explain his actions. But, of course, that will never happen. He'll always leave you guessing.
