exactly... except that... Protectionism goes against the fabric of Laisez Faire Capitalism... (not to mention the trumpeting of the democratic system the US has been promoting all over the world for years...) And the population growth ? Ah yes, the millions of peasants reproducing at the speed of rabbits... what is that going to do to labor prices... what ? they are unskilled... sure but they can be trained.... and on top of all this deflation in the US... ah yes... Unions will succeed with higher wages and demands.... sure...
