1. Auto sales are expected to slow in 3rd and 4th quarters.
This will continue pricing pressure on the auto related industry.
2. The West Coast dock strike isn't helping the U.S. economy. Less money for dock workers to spend. Fewer goods available for sale. Higher costs of alternate transportation. "Robert Parry, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Franciso, estimated that costs to the U.S. economy are now up to $2 billion a day after being estimated at $1 billion a day during the first five days of the shutdown."

Housing is still going strong although housing related stocks have peaked. Strongest US Dow Jones sector over the past month are:
1. DJ Oil Companies, Secondary Index.
2. DJ Oil Drilling, Equip. and Services

Hey Guys!.... just looking at a stock tip from a fellow driver! Whatdaya think of RGLD???? Been slowly growing while others are fluctuating? (I know there's a techical term for that, sometimes forgot more than I ever learned!)
