PB, I read through some of the paean to mysticism

I don't think you read my links carefully enough.

I am an engineer with some 20 yrs experience in the field of semiconductor manufacturing.

I have met countless "scientists" dealing with actual problems. As an engineer with a degree in physics, with a minor in chemistry, I learned my subject matter. I like math too.

It's just I liked Paul Feyerabend so much. He is sooooo right with his book "Against Method", even though he is German and fought in WW2 with bravery. Imagine such an idea from a German -g-

Fact is, his ideas helped me much during my education and during my application of science to problems at hand in industry.

EOS (end of story)

The method of checking whether it is true in the mystical world view is how you feel about it....
