OT: I am thinking about going long on QLGC tomorrow morning at the open.

finance.yahoo.com

In after hours it fell 8% to 22.63. If it opens near that level it should bounce back a bit almost immediately. My rational is that QLGC is selling off only due to really bad EMC news:

EMC EMC Corp cuts Q3 forecast, will buy back up to 250 mln shares (5.01 halted ) -- Update -- Company expects to report total revenue of approximately $1.25 billion, and a loss of $0.02 per share for the third quarter -- Multex consensus estimates are $ 1.4 billion and a net loss of $0.01 per share; says IT spending environment remains "brutal".

Storage names hit on EMC warning - Prices vs the 4 pm ET close -- QLGC -1.90, BRCD -0.34, NTAP -0.32

I would worry if I were going to hold long term but short term or for just a quick day trade it should bounce.

At 22.63 the stock will be below the lower Bollinger Band at 22.93 and way more than 10% below the 10 day moving average at 27.06.

It should bounce right after the open in my opinion.

Thoughts AD, Robert or anyone?
