That's right.

What annoys me is religious people trying to explain how their beliefs are logical. This is very common in Judaism. Most aren't into mysticism formally. A lot are very opposed to mysticism. So they argue that their relgion is logical and scientifically proven.

On the other hand Christian dudes (like Mormon missionaries I met in Canberra) ask people how they feel about Jesus and for me or my ex-Communist Chinese girlfriend it's like "what?"

At least I can get engaged in an argument which makes sense with the Jewish proseltisers.

<David, so, if it feels good, disconnect brain and Just Do It. >

LOL... no no no, you can't go there my friend... again, the entire Buddhist tradition [born in India, Hindu is similar] is 'being present'... NOT being disconnected! WE are disconnected at this moment on line... in our heads. Science is in fact often disconnected...

No doubt ancient religions feeding virgins to volcanoes were VERY aware and connected to what they were doing. Death is an honor in some religions... ESPECIALLY being tossed in hot lava! YUM!
