For example, there is this continuous mention of a "Kurdish government" and even a "Kurdistan".

zonder, as I understand it, you have two things going on. There is original geographic ares known as "Kurdistan" and the present northern Iraq area that contains almost all Kurds and Turkomen, that is self governing under our 'No Fly Zone."

This is very upsetting to Turkey, as they do not want it to end up as a separate state when we invade.
