I am not sure reliable your source is. I trust ABCnews more. I have had a theory that the CIA knows where OBL is, so they can track his activities better. So it would not surprise me the CIA made a visit even. I do not believe OBL is a CIA cohort to justify US attacks in the region. Having known many extremists from the Middle East, (I taught at a technical college in Florida in 1980's and by accident became close to and UAE radicals, and in the late 70's I worked in farm work with a group of Iranian radicals who later went back to Iran and were involved in the overthrow of the Shah) I am certain of their sincerity to destroy Israel. Your premise that OBL would incite Islamic extremists to help the CIA would highly risky for the US. And I totally believe OBL means every word he says that he wants the US out of all Islamic nations. Your theory is so upside down, it amazes me. Of course the conspircy theories change every week. For a long time it was claimed Israel were responsible for 9-11. Add even when several AlQuida members admit it, the poet formely known as LeRoy Jones stands by that crazy theory. It really is simple: The Islamic extremists want to destroy Israel. They tell us that over and over. And nothing will change that untill they succeed or we defeat them.

I reread the article you have and I think it is true that the CIA did visit him there. I first felt OBL was in Iran, but I think it is quite possible OBL is in SaudiArabia or Yemen. I think SaudiArabia is playing both sides and OBLs family have enough influence to allow him to stay in Saudia Arbia. The Suadi's recently broke off ties with Quatar. IMO the US plan is to overthrow Hussain and then work the other way. Iraq actually is the most moderate state as far as the populus in the area. Eventually the Saudis will forced to choose sides. My bet is the CIA went to see OBL to tweak him a little.
