OT AD: What proportion of your capital gains during the past 5 years would you say have come from AMAT? I'm trying to understand why a flexible day trader/ swing trader like yourself with an excellent understanding of the dynamics of one company would still worship at the alter of diversification, when specialized industry and company-specific knowledge can often make the difference between gambling and intelligent investing. I'm paying the price for sensible diversification today in my LH investment that is obviously a gamble. I remember when SDI, select dissemination of information, was an information science (read library) term concerning getting scarce time-sensitive information to clients most in need of them. It takes on a slightly different twist in the full disclosure context. <g> Imagine such a thing as information scarcity!! I'm thinking of those horribly expensive technical journals. Sam
